I have had the privilege of knowing Sarah over at Stitchin' Mommy since my college days. Actually, I suppose she could be considered family since she did join us for a Thanksgiving feast my freshmen year. I genuinely enjoyed our time together.
Sarah has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of her second son sometime early October. Her son, Luke keeps her busy during the days as a homemaker. Her and her husband, Nathan will be celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary this coming week. Congrats!!
Now to shop!! Sarah has been sewing for over 20 years. Her room in the dorm was always welcoming with touches of homemade decor. She was always creating beautiful things. I see she hasn't stopped...
What I love the most about Sarah's shop is her doll dresses. I love the details that Sarah adds to her work and the little shoes are absolutely adorable! I can't wait until my daughter gets her American Girl doll...I know I'll be stopping by Stitchin'Mommy to pick up some outfits. Stop by her shop to say hello, purchase one of her many doll dresses, greeting cards, handkerchiefs or other fun stitched items.

Disaster
Yesterday I was working on a custom piece for a customer. As I was soldering my second to last jump-ring my torch malfunctioned and instead of the steady low flame, it turned into a blazing torch!! The result....two beyond-melted...more like completely dissolved chain links. So instead of polishing up my piece, I headed to the store in search of a new torch. YIKES!!
